For more than 80 years, we have been connecting people of all ages with nature through award-winning education programs and resources: Ranger Rick® magazine, Schoolyard Habitats, Eco-Schools USA and Eco-Leaders.
NWF was the education partner for the first film An Inconvenient Truth and is honored to be the education partner for its sequel. Along with filmmakers and supporters we have developed an education strategy for a wide range of learners that leverages all of the assets of the film and NWF’s existing resources and programs for school, campus and home.
Climate change education, its real-world implications, the multi-disciplinary context it provides and its applied learning attributes make it highly effective in advancing Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Math (STEAM) disciplines. Our goal is to provide easy-to-implement, trusted curriculum and activities that inspire the next generation of environmental stewards.
